Koondise laager

Nädalavahetusel toimus Eesti koondise selle hooaja esimene laager.

Peatreener Tomi Niinimäki juhendamisel toimus 24- 25.november Tere Tennisekeskuses koondise laager.

It was a privilege running a camp with the Estonian national teams again! It is great to see that even after the slightly disappointing spring and the European championships the players are all fired up for a new season and another test in April.

Both of the teams are currently bringing in new young players and luckily there is a very good situation in youth as there are multiple competitive youngsters in both girls and boys. Walter Herold Veedla was absent from the camp as he is currently living and training in Prague, which is excellent - these are the kind of sacrifices and investments that one needs to consider to get to the top. Eveli Mälk and Henrik Kurm joined the camp and they both were a big asset throughout the weekend.

The national teams will be joining once more for a camp early next year before the annual test match with the Latvians and the European championships in Lisboa. It’s going to be a very exciting season with the team as there are new faces joining the action!
